In fact, two of our divisions (Nucor Indiana and Nucor Berkeley) are the only facilities of their type in North America to be registered as meeting ANSI Z10 standards and certified under OHSAS 18001.
And we work hard to improve our already impressive safety record ... By voluntarily inviting inspections and qualifying for advanced OSHA, ANSI, AHSAS and other ratings. By seeking out and sharing best practices between all our divisions. By actively auditing our own sites. And by rewarding those who lead the way.
