“Some people work years for a company without ever meeting the CEO, let alone give him a presentation.” There I am, 21 months out of college giving a presentation to all 36 division General Managers, the VP's, and the CEO, Dan DiMicco! Some people work years for a company without ever meeting the CEO, let alone give him a presentation. Detailing to him our efforts to recruit Nucor's next great batch of employees, the same employees that will eventually lead the company to new heights. Though my full time position is on the galvanizing line, recruiting the best and the brightest to continue Nucor's success may just be my greatest contribution. |
